TOPIC : ROUTE SELECTION

The selection of the road trace is an essential initial stage of road planning. This is based on the fact that
the selection of road trace can have several considerations from technical conditions namely
geotechnics, hydrology, vehicle operating costs to social conditions such as social disturbances and
residential areas. Do a literature review on the selection of road trace (selection factors, selection
methods, etc.) and write down the results of your study using your most preferably language.
Instructions: the paper is typed in Ms Word with A4 paper size, and the left margin is 4 cm, upper and
lower right 3 cm. Paper is submitted in e-learning in the format doc./docx. The sources referred to are
textbooks, proceeding articles, journal articles, or research reports (final report of research). The source
must consist of at least 6 from Indonesia and 4 internationally. All references referred to must be
included in the citation in the contents of the document and bibliography. The citations use Harvard
Citation Format.
Score points:
1) Relevance;
2) Evidence of the use of appropriate materials;
3) Organisation of material into a coherent structure: introduction, argument and evidence,
conclusion;
4) Originality (will be marked using Turnitin).
