CT BRAIN WITHOUT IV CONTRAST

Technique:
  
CT scan of brain was performed on Revolution 16 slice scanner.

Findings:
  
Cerebellum, 4th ventricle, brain stem and CP angle regions are within normal limits.

Sella, suprasellar & parasellar areas are normal.

The extra-cerebral spaces and supratentorial ventricular system are normal.

Brain parenchyma shows normal grey-white matter differentiation.

Midline structures and corpus callosum are normal.

No haemorrhage pathology.

No extra-axial collection seen.


 
Deviated nasal septum to right with bony spur impinging on right inferior turbinate.
 
Hypertrophied bilateral inferior turbinates (Left > Right).
 
Right concha bullosa noted.

IMPRESSION:     ESSENTIALLY NORMAL STUDY OF BRAIN.
