- The 40th Gulf Cooperation Council summit scheduled to take place in

Riyadh on December 10th, the Gulf Cooperation Council secretary-
general announced late on Sunday.

- “Their Majesties and Highness will discuss several important political,

economical and social issues to reinforce the progress of the Gulf
Cooperation Council and integration among its members.”
The Gulf secretary-general said in a statement.

- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told the United States on

Wednesday that Washington might have ‘out off the arm’ of General
Qassim Solimani but America’s ‘leg’ in the region would be cut off in
response.

- His comments came hours after Iran launched dozens of ballistic

missiles and targeted US military bases in Iraq on Tuesday night in
retaliation for the killing last week of Solimani.

- The Iranian Revolutionary Guards also conformed that it had carried
out the missile attack against US forces as part of the operation
named “Timothy Solemani” saying in a statement that it was the first
step of their retaliation for the killing of the Quds Force Commander.
He was buried Tuesday night after the attack.

- Hours after the attack, there was still no confirmation regarding

causalities. According to the Iraq official news agency, Iraqi officials are
reporting no casualties among Iraqi security forces. Although earlier the
same sources had said that military officials were injured.
