Ethics.
A review of Chapter 6.
Introduction:
Deontologists agreed that your actions are independent of the amount of

good the can provide. Instead the importance of a good decision is based in the

moment when u make that decision. What it is instead… this kind of thinking was

supported by KANT.

He assured, that to make a good decision u should appeal to reason.

Commands for ethics according to Kant´s theory:


They are divided in two categories: Hypothetical or categorical.

 Hypothetical: from the desire

 Categorical: no from the desire. Kant says that this is the base o moral law

and they are the expression of our moral duties. Cause they come from the

rational thinking and they have the possibility of became truths.

Some others think that the right action come from the inner part of our selves, been

envolved in universal laws tha rules us all. This is known as de Natural Law Theory

by AKINAS. In other words, this inner rules are a natural function and its purpose is

based and lives in all living things, preserving human lifes, avoidance of harm, the

search of the truth and been socialize.


Even though humans are different from the animals cause we got rational thinking,

so reason is the foundation of morality.

Consequence of this, is the law and give the capability of judge what good and

wrong, that’s why law is objective and universal.
