Recycled plastic toys for pets

The problem that I want to address is the contamination due to plastics in the world, I think that
from engineering it is important to act to stop the pollution of the world and give a break to the
world we inhabit. It is important to deal with this problem since it is estimated that if contamination
continues to be carried out at the current rate in 2050, the point of no return would arrive at which
it would be impossible to take any action to save the world.

My idea is to try to give a second use to the plastic, picking up the plastic that is discarded in the
university, give it a treatment and with this treated plastic make articles like houses or toys for dogs
and cats.

I would like to apply it by initially collecting the plastic from the university, which is supposed to be
deposited in the deposits corresponding to recyclable materials, and if the project is well received it
could be expanded to all of Medellin, implementing additional strategies in the collection of
garbage along the city.

I chose this idea due to the high levels of contamination in the world, due to the lack of
environmental awareness and due to the growing increase in the tendency of people to have their
pets in better conditions than themselves.
