To Install AccountEdge On A Mac
2. Copy and paste the required link below into your Internet Browser
http://myob.com.au/download/AccountEdgeEDU11-5
3. The file will start to download – you will need to click ‘show in file’.
4. Once the download is completed, you need to start the ‘unarchiving’ process by double clicking
on the file called ‘AccountEdge.EDU.11.5’ – it will be highlighted in grey on your screen.
5. Double clicking on this file will open the Mac Installer which has a wizard to install the software.
Click Continue.
6. After reading the MYOB License Agreement, select Continue and then Agree.
7. The installation wizard may prompt you to select the destination where you would like to install
the software. If required make your choice and click Continue.
8. The installation type screen then appears. Click ‘Install’ to confirm that you wish to perform a
standard installation on your Mac hard drive. If you have an administration password, this will
now be required. MYOB will then install the software on your machine in the applications folder
and it will be displayed in a Finder window.
Note: When the installation is complete a browser for online MYOB help is automatically opened.
Close this help window to see the screen confirming that your installation was successful.
10. Go to the Application folder and double click on the AccountEdge icon to open the software.
The AccountEdge welcome window opens and the icon will appear on the dock.
11. If you wish the icon to be on your dock at all times for easier access, right click on this icon and
select the option to keep in the dock.
