The commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the battle of Manila that has been attended by the

school staffs together with my class, showcases different memorabilia from the past and its significant
contribution to the Philippine history. The dark age of manila under the Japanese colonization can be
highly observed in the art works and books presented in the exhibit. The presented collection only
proves the cruelty and inhumane practices and struggles of the Filipino people during the time of the
said colonization. Knowing that these memorabilia was owned and stored in the university I am
currently enrolled in made me feel proud and amazed that I am part of the institution who contributed
in the history of my country.
