Dear All,

We are pleased to inform you that Thailand Arbitration Center and the UNCITRAL Regional
Centre for Asia and the Pacific will host the 1st International ADR Conference in Thailand on
17th – 18th May 2018.

This year will be the first year for this annual conference. The focus on new opportunities that
result from legal convergence in ADR considers how legal unification and harmonization are
essential in promoting the use of ADR and the enforcement of awards and agreements. The
conference will take place in the backdrop of the wider economic context that includes the Belt
and Road initiative, special economic development of the eastern economic corridor in
Thailand and the economic cooperation within the Greater Mekong Sub-region.

There is no quota for the National Chapter to send their delegate and this event is free of charge
for ALSA Members and the only required document is Curriculum Vitae (CV).

This is a very good opportunity for your respective NC and ALSA members to discuss topics
on Alternative Dispute Resolution and to expand your knowledge on the topic as well as make
connections with people from their field of expertise.
