1810: School of Drama, Wojciech Bogusławski.
1821: The Institute of Music and Recitation, Józef Elsner. Department of Fine Arts (W.U.).
1826: The Main School of Music and The Dramatic and Vocal School.
1830: Polish–Russian War.
1861 – 1918: Warsaw's Institute of Music.
1946: Higher State School of Music (recreated).
1966: current building in Okólnik Street.
1979: Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy.

• Warsaw’s old town: -Established in the 13th century.
-1939: Invasion of Poland. Rebuilt after 2nd World War.
Cracow (day 2)
• Wawel Cathedral: Coronations and funerals of Poland’s monarchs and strongmen.

• St Mary´s Basilica -Built in 1220.

-Baroque portal added in 1750.

• Rynek Underground -Medieval market stalls

-Middle Ages meets 21st century experience.
Warsaw (day 3)
• Warsaw’s new town: -Established in the 14th century.
-Interesting churches and New Town Market Square.

• Nowy Swiat Street: -Main commercial street in Warsaw.

• Palace of culture and science: central orientation point in the city. Built by Josef Stalin, hated by the
Poles for a few decades. Amazing view from the 30th floor.
Warsaw (day 4)
• Wilanów Palace: -Baroque royal residence established in 1677.
-Museum in two parts: royal apparments & Polish portraits.
