Role: SharePoint Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:


 Day-to-day operational support for, but not limited to, the following administrative tasks for
the enterprise wide SharePoint farm:
o Managing of SharePoint users and groups, with integration to the AD;
o Managing of users/groups access and permission; o Managing of SharePoint sites & sub-sites; o
Handling of SharePoint related queries;
o Updating of content pages, list and document libraries.
 Trouble-shooting and resolution of SharePoint related issues reported by users.
 Manage & support applications developed & built on the SharePoint platform.
 Provide technical & operational support to SharePoint developers and users.
 Housekeeping and monitoring of services to ensure SharePoint availability.
 Apply software and security patches, as well as version upgrades.
 Provide incident and problem management for SharePoint related issues.
 Develop and implement operational procedures and changes to improve service.
 Project implementation and vendor management, as applicable
o Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades and manages SharePoint Servers/Farms;
o Creates, updates and migrates customized SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 workflows using SharePoint
Designer.
 Act as a back-fill for the database administrator (DBA) in his/her absence, to perform basic
day-to-day database related tasks (e.g. startup & shutdown of databases, monitoring of database
services, execution of SQL jobs and/or scripts). Requirements:
 Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 3 years of hands-on
experience in SharePoint 2013 administration.
 Experience in troubleshooting and resolution of SharePoint related problems.
 Experience in the implementation and management of SharePoint Search, User Profile,
Distributed Cache, RBS and ADFS.
 Knowledge and experience of SharePoint as a Service in the Cloud will be an advantage.
 Strong technical knowledge and experience of PowerShell and MS SQL will be an advantage.
 Certification in SharePoint and ITIL will be an advantage.
 Knowledge and experience in databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL) will be an advantage.
 Able to work independently, and yet be a good team player.
 Possess good analytical skills, and able to multi-task.
 Have good interpersonal and written communication skills.
