My Letter of Intent of Resignation as Socio-Cultural Committee (SoCul) Chairman

To the General Assembly,

the Unit Council,
and my SoCul,

I would first like to extend my gratitude for a wonderful experience,

not only as SoCul chairperson but as an UPSCAn as well.
Your efforts, determination, and support have consistently
bolstered the strength of this organization’s principles and continued its
tradition of excellence. As SoCul chairperson, I had repeatedly pursued to
match these qualities exhibited by the members
However, for the past month, three issues concerning my
relationship with the organization had made it difficult for me further
pursue these efforts, namely:
a.) My disagreement with the parish priest’s policy regarding the
tambayan and its implications on parish-organization relations
b.) My personal struggles as an UPSCAn facing both a family matter
c.) My performance as SoCul head, affected by two previous issues
outlined
With these in mind, I do not believe I have the capacity to fulfill my
responsibilities as a principled SoCul chairman as these issues persist.
I intend to finalize my resignation by March 18, Wednesday. Until
then, I will cooperate with both the Unit Council and the organization in the
necessary steps moving forward.
