Issa, your love and enjoyment for books

continues to grow.
You know how to turn the pages gently
You know that the words can be read and
you can often be heard mumbling away to
yourself. This is a fantastic way to learn
language, sounds, and communication.
You know that books can be read and has
meaning.
You have began pointing to things you can
identify and are learning to name.
I just love your joy in books, your big sis-
ters are great models for you. Miriam likes
to be the teachers and gathers small
groups of children and then hold the book
up for all to see, just like the teachers do!
Issa, I have seen you also imitate what the
Miriam and the teachers do as well, you
are sharing your joy for books with others
and interacting with your peers, which will
help you to build language and communi-
cation skills.
Issa, your love and joy for books will set
you up for all future learning, you will
know how to find out about the world
around you and share with others too.
I can wait to see what you discover
through books next!
