I. IMMUNOPOTENTIATING ACTION. Effect of BRM:
i. on relative weight of the immunological organ-spleen * p <0.01 ii. on the percentage of peripheral blood T lymphocyte ** p<0.001
II. ANTINEOPLASTIC ACTION. Effect of BRM:
i. Influence on natural incidence of tumor ii. Inhibitory effect on the growth of transplanted tumors iii. Synergetic antineoplastic action with Cyclophosphamide (CY). iv. Counteractive effect on hemopoietic depression induced by CY. III. ACTION ON DELAYING AGING. Effect of BRM: i. On immunological function (weight of thymus). ii. On the percentage of peripheral blood T lymphocyte. 20 old mice and 10 adult mice were used. 10 old mice drank 0.5% water solution of BRM; the other 10 old mice and 10 adult mice drank tap water. Blood was taken 30 days later and thepercentage of pero[pheral blood T lymphocytes were examined with ANAE staining. iii. On Lipid Peroxide. iv. On Lipofuscin content of liver.
