Main functions of Management

1) Organizing – process of determining the special activities to be undertaken to achieve the


objectives
2) Planning – the process of setting goals and selecting the best approach to achieve these
objectives

communication process towards the attainment of specific goals
12) Staff appraisal – an assessment of the performance, strengths and weaknesses of the
personnel to improve the quality of their work
13) Staff training – giving essential and desirable training to staff members to improve their
personal skills and knowledge
14) Crisis management – the ability to handle any crisis that may arise
