Sea & Land Precast is a flexible and experienced

bespoke precast manufacturer with a
philosophy of bringing the manufacturing
base to the end user’s site. Where practical,
Sea & Land Precast will set up a mobile
temporary site as close to the required
installation location as possible. This initiative
results in a reduction in transport cost and
more flexible, timely deliveries.

Sea Defences
The qualities possessed by precast concrete make it ideal for the design and
fabrication of coastal sea defences.
The low installation costs, low maintenance,
flexibility, strength, durability and high quality
finish of precast concrete ensures the
protection characteristics and aesthetic
integrity of the product is maintained over
a long period of time.
Sea & Land Precast are currently involved in
the manufacture and production of precast
concrete revetments and wave walls for sea
defences in Blackpool and Cleveleys. These
highly specialised projects have enabled
Sea & Land Precast to develop innovative ideas
and solutions to meet the needs of the client.
This includes a suction vacuum for placing the
pre-moulded concrete into place.
Blackpool
A unique feature of the Blackpool revetment
units is the use of structural polypropylene
fibres removing the requirement for rebar
in these units. These units involved many
architectural features and the use of coloured
concrete; the unit weights ranged from
0.2te to 24te.

For the purposes of this project, Sea & Land
Precast custom built a facility at Thornton.
This enabled the precast team to produce
the first revetment units within three
months of the contract award.
Sea & Land Precast has recently been
awarded an increased scope of work for
the Blackpool Sea Defence Project
incorporating modification work to
headlands, parades and wave walls; the
unit weights are in excess of 23te.
Cleveleys
Sea & Land Precast has been working
with Birse Coastal and Wyre Borough
Council to develop and construct coastal
defences in Cleveleys. Phase one, was
completed in March 2007 followed by
Phase two completed in 2009 . This
provides not only sound protection but
a stylish new sea frontage for 1.8
kilometres of coastline.

Stadia
Sea & Land Precast has experience, not only in the manufacture of stadia
terrace units, vomitories, slabs and walls but also an installation capability.
Our engineering capabilities also give us the advantage of being able to devise
new methods of manufacture and installation.

Our objectives are to work closely with clients
developing manufacturing plans to meet main
steelwork erection schedules. This ensures
projects are completed on time, in budget and
to the right quality standards.

Sea & Land Precast Ltd Submat division offers a wide range of products and

With 40 years experience of working with clients on an
international basis, Sea & Land Precast Ltd Submat division
provides innovative and low cost solutions to all major
subsea contractors. Submat’s range of services is aimed at
meeting the special requirements associated with the
installation of offshore oil and gas pipelines / structures
and their related works.
Sea & Land Precast Ltd Submat division
adopt a similar philosophy to Sea & Land
Precast Ltd and are committed to bringing
the manufacturing base to the end user’s
site. Submat will, where practical, set up a

Sea & Land Colourtone
Sea & Land Precast Colourtone is a division of Sea & Land Precast. Although relatively
young, it is rapidly establishing itself in the field of decorative coloured concrete.
Our team have been involved in the
design and development of innovative,
architectural concrete finishes for a number
of years, and have worked on many
prestigious projects. Working in partnership
with other decorative material manufacturers
and specialist concrete contractors, we are
able to assist with many design and
construction requirements.
Sea & Land Precast Colourtone have
developed an advanced manufacturing
process operating to BS EN ISO 9001:2008
quality management systems and standards
producing a high quality colour conditioning
admixture for concrete. Using our computer
controlled, automated process and raw
materials that conform to European and
National Standards, we are able to offer a
quality controlled, colour consistent product
that easily disperses in concrete to give an
exceptional result.

Sea & Land Precast Colourtone produces a
water reducing, workability enhancing Blush Clay Midnight Camel
admixture package for superior integrally
coloured concrete and mortar. Sea & Land
Precast Colourtone's Integral Colour is
suitable for all types of concrete and mortar Dusk Smoke Chocolate Biscuit
and is available in a wide range of colours. It
can also be matched to blend in with any
colour or setting.
Lagoon Terracotta Pistachio Rose
Depending on the requirements of the
end user, Sea & Land Precast Colourtone's
Integral Coloured admixture can be used in
all forms of concrete construction ranging Caramel Mocha Tarragon
from flatwork to in-situ and precast.
All of the materials used to manufacture
Colourtone Integral Colour are made to the
highest quality standards and are sourced
within the EU. All pigments conform to
BS EN 128 78:2005, and are resistant to
sunlight and UV.
