Guidelines for Summer Training Report (STR)

1. Students shall proceed for their Summer Training, immediately after the completion of 4th
semester exam.
2. Training will be of two months duration.
3. The Summer Training Report will be assessed in the Fifth Semester.
4. Students shall choose an organization of repute, a private/public limited company, corporation
or a government department etc.
5. The candidate shall be required to undergo training in the various areas of organization
concerned.
6. Students have to submit confirmation letter of the company to the college.
7. Hard copy of the report is to be submitted within 10 days after completion of your training.
8. The Faculty has liberty to visit/call the Organization where the student is undergoing training to
assess and evaluate fruitfulness of the training.
9. The student must keep in mind the following points during the training:
i) Maintain punctuality
ii) Remain sincere towards the work assigned
iii) Be ethical in your deals
iv) Build cordial relationship with all the industry professionals you come across during your
training session.
v) Report to concern faculty on regular basis.

Typing and Printing Instruction

1. PAGE DIMENSION AND SPECIFICATIONS:


The dimension of the project report should be in A4 size on bond paper. The project report should
be Hard Binding only. Each Student/group has to submit two copies of report. One will be a
college copy and other will be given back to a respective student/group.

2. TYPING INSTRUCTIONS:
 1.5”line spacing should be used for typing the general text.
 Draw Chart and Figures as when required.
 The general text shall be typed in the Font style ‘Times New Roman’ and Font Size 12”
 Chapter heading – font size 16”
 Topic Main heading – font size 14”
