Proposal

Rationale
Thought the 8 units I think that my work has changed drastically, at the beginning of the
course I didn’t have much knowledge with a camera, but as the units have gone on, I have
learnt to camera skills and the correct way to use the camera. In unit one my camera work
wasn’t good, my shots were shaky and out of focus etc, but as the units have gone on I have
learnt have to improve and correct the mistake I had in previous projects. I also feel as I
have worked though these units, I know what work and what doesn’t I know when I am
being too ambitious with a project but also when I know I haven’t done enough.

Project Concept
I have decided to do a stop motion animation for my final major project, I will be using the
median of clay, I have decided to do stop motion animation because I have a real passion for
this. After years of watching other stop motion animations I felt inspired to do this. I feel as
though I have the patients to do this as it is a very time-consuming thing. I know that I
wanted to do a important subject that is important to satiety so I choose to do the rich and
poor divide, this is a topic that really speaks to me and I feel as though it was be great if it
was shown though stop- motion. There way in which I will research this is though watching
and analysing other clay mations with storyline being important issues in the world but also
watching programmes and documentaries that show the difference. This will help as I will
be able to get honest options from people living in the rich and poor divide. I have decided
to do clay as I feel as though I am strong in this median, I enjoy using it. I. will be making a
studio set in my bedroom for the set of the animation, I will be painting a backdrop and and
creating any other props I need to for the animation.

Evaluation
The way in which I will be evaluating my work is by showing the final project to my peers
and getting their feedback. I will do this though survey monkey, I will put their response
together in the conclusion. Another way I will be evaluating my final project will be by
screen shoots thought my video, I will be analysing these and explaining what was good and
what went wrong this will be added into my conclusion.
