Product description
The group performed an experiment and created a facial cleanser. The product was named
______. _________ was made by blending or mixing process. It is a simple mixing of materials
wherein it is disseminated with each other completely. The raw materials needed for making the
facial cleanser were: 1.65 ml of 95% ethyl alcohol, 100 ml of water, 5ml of glycerol, 0.5 g of
menthol, 0.1 g of salicylic acid, and a drop of 1 % FeCl3 solution.
______ is a skin cleanser that freshens and rejuvenates your skin. It effectively removes deep
seated dirt, make-up, dead skin, dark spots, and other skin blemishes, leaving a smooth, fresh,
wrinkle-free and young looking skin. This product is best used every morning and evening after
cleansing; applies it to the face with a cotton ball or pad, wiping in an outward direction. It is
recommended for normal, oily and sensitive skin.
Surfactants are the principal constituents of most cleanser formulas and are mainly responsible
for its cleansing action. Surfactants move to the interface upon dissolving in water and act by
lowering the interfacial tension and remove dirt, sebum, oil from cosmetic products,
microorganisms, and exfoliated corneum cells in an emulsified form. An ideal cleanser should do
all these without damaging or irritating the skin, on the contrary it should try to keep the skin
surface moist
