Ptr Audio System Lx Models Audio Controls Note: Control operations are described. Check your vehicle for the types of controls used. TUNE/Selector knobibar: Changes the radio station, AMIFWIXM button: Selects AM, FM1, FM2, XM, or XM2 (if equipped) Preset Button: Selects the desired station stored in a band (AM/EM1/ FM2IXM1/XM2). To store a station, press and hold the desired preset bution until you hear a beep, then release, SKIP buttons/bar: ‘Seeks upward (>>) or downward (<<) to find the next station with a strong signal ASEL buttonibar: Tus on AUTO SELECT — This scans both bands and stores the strongest stations in the preset buttons of each band. Tip: You will not fose your selected presets. They will come With Navigation back whon you turn off AUTO SELECT. CD (CDIAUX) button: Fm OE Selects the CD player or CD changer. The drive pulls it in the rest of the way, Ittakes a few seconds for the CD to load To remove a CD: 1. Press the Eject button. 2. Remove the CD as it comes out. To load muntiple CDs in the 8-CD changer: 1. Pres and hold LOAD button until the system beeps 2. When “LOAD" is displayed, insert a CD into CD slot. '3,When “LOAD' is displayed again, insert the next CD. 4. Repeat until all six positions are loaded. Tip: If you are not foading COs into al six positions, press ihe CD bution after the last CD is loaded, or wail 70 seconds and the system stops the load operation. To remove multiple CDs in the 6-CD changer: 1, Press and hold the Eject button until system beeps. 2. Remove the CDs as they come out Tip: If you eject the diso, but do nol remove it, the system automatically reloads it aler 10 seconds. Play Mode Press the TITLE button and the felling is displayed: * CD text data - Album, atist, track name + MP3 or WMA format - Folder, fle name, artist, alburn, ‘and Wack tag, EX, EX-L models: Use the selector knob or interface dial 10 ‘access PLAY MODE, thon solact the adjustment io be mado. Note: When MP3 or WIA discs are playing, PLAY MODE ‘appears as a selection. This mode contains 8 sub-nodes. Changing Folders, Tracks/Files (MP3 and WMA modes) 1. The selector knob can be used to select a folder or trackifle on the list. 2. Press ENTER (pusir in the selector knob). The display ‘changes to a three-folder list aa 3.Tum the knob fo scroll o a desired folder then press ENTER to select the folder. The display changes to a three-track ist. Tur the knob fo scroll to a desired folder, then press ENTER to select the track. Select Repeat, Random, or Scan Modes ‘To select any of these modes: 1. Pross the MENU button to display menu selections. 2.Tum the selector knob to cisplay PLAY MODE and press ENTER. 3.Tum the selector knob to the desired mode and press ENTER OP tome ae We SHC SRereet ey To tum off any of these features: 1.
