Visitation Policy

Effective 3/20/2020 @ 3pm


ED visitation

NO visitors except

a. Parents with children (less than 18 years)


b. One visitor with patients unable to make decisions
c. End of life/critical situations (number determined by medical/nursing staff)

Outpatient (clinic visits, infusions, x-ray, lab, etc.)

NO visitors unless patient absolutely needs caregiver for transport/assistance

Outpatient Procedures (cath lab, same day surgery, interventional radiology, endoscopy)

Visitor to provide contact information for staff to call for patient pick up. Visitor may
not stay unless the patient absolutely needs caregiver for transport/assistance while
in the hospital

Inpatient

NO visitors allowed with the exception of:

a. Pediatric patients are allowed 2 parents to visit only


i. Parents not allowed to leave the room
b. Essential visitors may be allowed for adult patients in critical situations, end
of life or patient need for personal caregiver at bedside (as determined by
medical/nursing staff)
c. 5am-5pm, Mon-Fri enter front lobby screening area only
d. 5pm-8pm and weekends, enter ED lobby screening area only
e. Visitors NOT in the building by 8pm will not be allowed entrance

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE NO VISITIATION AT ALL IF POSSIBLE. PLEASE CONSIDER


THE USE OF PHONE CALLS, FACE TIME, ETC. TO REPLACE FACE-TO-FACE VISITATION

NO visitor is allowed who is febrile or screens at risk for COVID-19
