1. Definition
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause diseases ranging from the
common cold to more severe illnesses such as the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome
(MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). Coronavirus disease
(COVID-19) is a new species discovered in 2019 and has never been identified in humans.
Corona virus is zoonosis, meaning that it is transmitted between animals and humans.
Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from mongoose to humans
and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Some coronaviruses are known to
circulate in animals that have not yet infected humans.
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, coughing, shortness of
breath and difficulty breathing. In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia,
acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. Standard recommendations for
preventing the spread of infection include washing hands regularly, covering the mouth and
nose when coughing and sneezing, cooking meat and eggs thoroughly. Avoid close contact
with anyone who shows symptoms of respiratory illnesses such as coughing and sneezing.
2. History
In December 2019 there was a group of pneumonia cases in a Chinese investigation
found that it was caused by a previously unknown virus which is now named the Covid-19.
This virus is a new type of Corona virus that causes respiratory illnesses that can range from
the common cold to fever. This virus is associated with seafood and animal markets in
Wuhan City. The disease has spread from those who are sick to others including family
members and health care staff there and even has spread to a number of countries
transmitted from animals such as camel bats weasel history of the virus had originally
occurred in the Middle East region namely Saudi Arabia related to the Arab camels
3. Prevention
Symptoms that arise such as lethargic cough fever must be watched to prevent it we can
do a clean lifestyle someone infected can be diagnosed with a test called the PCR or
polymerase chain reaction this test identifies the virus at this time there is no specific cure
for the virus and treatment is supportive care for protect us. Vaccines are still being
developed but the spread of there are some standard hygiene practices that are recommended
to protect from infection and spread it further. including closing your mouth and nose When

contaminated hands can move the virus
5. Nursing planning :

Summary

precisely in the animal market. there are many that sell animals to eat. this virus can spread from
a distance of 1 m but until now the cure has not been found. for that we need to take care of
ourselves, do preventive prevention such as reducing outdoor activities, eating healthy food,
