Case study guidelines common for Quantitative and

Qualitative research request:

 Time management: The candidate should well plan the case study, i.e. for a research case with a
duration of 3 hours, he/she should plan the amount of time to invest on conducting secondary research,
and time to invest on finalizing and packaging the output
 Secondary Research:
o Identify the most relevant output file (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) depending on the ask.
o Identify the most reliable sources to capture the financials (Knowledge of which sources is
reliable and which source isn’t is a must)
o Awareness of the Google search basics is an absolute requirement (E.g. how does the ‘and’ or
an ‘or’ or ‘+’ or ‘-‘ work when used with multiple words)
 Packaging:
o In case the output expected is in a PowerPoint presentation, make sure that the slides are well
formatted, there is a brief storyline, etc.
 Communication:
o He/she needs to be precise while communicating / sharing back  the case study
o A clear summary of the data gathered is expected, along with the methodology, challenges
faced, etc. is expected
o Any additional information that could be relevant to the request to be included
