Protocol for t-Test for Independent Samples (Uncorrelated Means)

1. In the menu bar, choose Analyze, go to Compare Means and click Independent Samples T Test.

2. In the Independent Samples T Test window, choose two variables that will serve as test variable
and grouping variable. For the grouping variable, click Define Groups.
3. In the Define Groups, label the two groups that you want to compare then click Continue.

4. After you complete all the required procedure, click OK.
