Further to the circular dated 17th February, 2020, related to the hostel room reservation counseling to be held
during 13th and 14th of March, 2020, kindly refer to the below mentioned Hostel and Mess Fee structure for the next academic
year (2020-21). The same will be displayed in the student and parent login as well as in the respective Hostel Block Notice displays.

Instructions to be followed for Room Counseling Registration & Allotment

 Students should register through the student login (VTop) under the Hosteler menu for participating in the
hostel room allotment counseling.
 On registering, an advance fee of Rs.20,000/-(applicable for Indian category only) shall be remitted through Online payment
mode (using the student/parent login) or by means of Demand Draft (DD to be submitted at Room No. G10, Dr. MGR Block,
Finance Office), drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore before the forenoon of 13th March,
2020 to become eligible for attending the room counseling.
 Students attending the room counselling are advised to bring your Mobile Phones to the counselling hall (Dr. Channa Reddy
Auditorium) as the Token Generation and the Room allotment status will be shared as SMS to your mobile phone during
counselling.
 Check whether you have the same registered mobile phone number as shown in your student’s Login. If not please request
your PROCTOR to validate and change the same through their Faculty login before 5.00pm on 13th March, 2020 by
requesting them in person.
 Students can check through Student login under Hosteller menu using 'Roommate Eligibility Tab' whether your intended
roommates are eligible to participate in the counselling process based on their payment of advance fees.
 Only the topper in the group will be allowed to enter the counselling hall for selecting the room. During the counselling the
topper will have to bring the ID card (or attested copies of students on leave) of all the intended roommates to seek room
allotment.
