1. General
Screens shown in these instructions are taken from the English version of the manual.
The functionality of the screens in other language versions is exactly the same.

2. Acrobat Reader Toolbar.

Listed below is a short explanation for the Acrobat Reader toolbar. For more detailed
information, please refer to the help function of the Acrobat Reader menu at the top of the
screen.

Number Description
AA Displays the page only.
AB Displays both bookmarks and the page.
AC Displays both thumbnails (miniature view of pages in the chapter) and the
page.
AD Selects the hand tool. Use this function during normal operation.
AE Selects the zoom-in tool. This function enables you to enlarge parts of the
viewed page by putting the mouse pointer at the corner of the area to be
enlarged and dragging a box around the area while holding the left mouse
button.
AF Go to the first page of the currently displayed group.
AG Go to the previous page.
AH Go to the next page.
AI Go to the last page of the currently displayed group.
AK Go to the previous view.
AL Return to the next view.
AM Sets the zoom of the viewed document to 100%.
AN Makes the current page fit into the window.
AO Makes the visible width of the current page fit inside the window.

3. Language selection screen.

3.1. Selecting a language.

Place the mouse pointer on the required language button. Click the left mouse
button once to select the required language.
The correct language will be selected automatically and the screen showing the
cover page will be displayed.

3.2. User instructions.

Place the mouse pointer on the button. Click the left mouse button once to
select the user instructions.
The next screen will be displayed. On this screen the user instructions in the
desired language can be selected as described above.
To return to the language selection screen for the User Instructions, place the
mouse pointer on the button on top of the document and click the left mouse
button once.
To return to the above shown screen, place the mouse pointer on the button and
click the left mouse button once.

3.3. Copyright.
Place the mouse pointer on the button. Click the left mouse button once to
select the copyright statement.
The next screen will be started up. On this screen the Copyright statement in the
desired language can be selected as described above.
To return to the language selection screen for the Copyright, place the mouse
pointer on the button on top of the document and click the left mouse button
once.
To return to the above shown screen, place the mouse pointer on the button and
click the left mouse button once.

4. Cover screen.

4.1. Starting up the manual.

Place the mouse pointer on the required manual in area ‘B’. Click the left mouse
button once to open the manual.
The correct manual will be selected automatically and the index page will be
displayed.

4.2. Starting up the Service Bulletin List.

Place the mouse pointer on ‘Service Bulletin List’ in area ‘B’. Click the left mouse
button once to start up the Service Bulletin listing.
For the use of the Service Bulletin listing refer to the chapter ‘Service Bulletins’ in
this document.
To return from the Service Bulletin listing to the cover screen, place the mouse
pointer on ‘Service Bulletin List’ on top of the page and click the left mouse button
once.

4.3. Returning to the language selection screen.

In case the wrong language is selected, return to the previous screen by placing
the mouse pointer in area ‘A’ and clicking the left mouse button once.

5. Foreword page.

5.1. Selecting a Group.

Place the mouse pointer on the required Group (area D). Click the left mouse
button once.
The correct group will be selected automatically and the group index page will be
displayed.

5.2. Returning to the cover page.

Place the mouse pointer on area ‘C’ and click the left mouse button once.

5.3. Changing the width of the left and right side of the screen.
The width of the left (bookmark) and right hand screens can be changed as desired
by placing the mouse pointer on the vertical screen divider ‘E’ and dragging it to the
desired position while keeping the left mouse button depressed.

6. Group contents page.

6.1. Selecting a subject.

Subjects can be selected on the left-hand screen, using the bookmarks, and/or the
right-hand screen showing the actual page.

6.1.1. Selecting with the left-hand screen bookmarks.

Put the mouse pointer on the required subject ‘F’ and click the left mouse
button once.

To return to the first page of the group use the button from the Acrobat
Reader toolbar.

6.1.2. Selecting by using the right-hand screen showing the group content
page.
Place the mouse pointer on the required subject ‘F’ and click the left mouse
button once.
Please note; only subjects printed in bold can be selected in this way.

To return to the first page of the group use the button from the Acrobat
Reader toolbar.

6.2. Groups containing multiple contents pages.

Some groups are divided in several sections of which each section has a separate
contents page.
When using the bookmarks on the left-hand page, the listing can be extended or
shortened.
To extend the list of bookmarks:
Place the mouse pointer on the symbol ‘H’ and click the left mouse button once.
To shorten the list of bookmarks:
Place the mouse pointer on the symbol ‘I’ and click the left mouse button once.

6.3. Returning to the foreword page.

Place the mouse pointer on area ‘G’ and click the left mouse button once.

7. Browsing through the pages of a group within the manual.

To browse through the pages of a group of the manual use the and buttons from
the Acrobat Reader toolbar.
To return to the first page of the group use the button from the Acrobat Reader
toolbar.
To go to the last page of the group use the button from the Acrobat Reader toolbar.

For more detailed information regarding the toolbar, refer to the chapter ‘Adobe Acrobat
Reader toolbar’ in these instructions, or the help function of the Adobe Acrobat menu at
the top of the screen.

8. Service Bulletins.

8.1. Service Bulletins indicated in the manual.

If a Service Bulletin has been issued in relation to a certain page of the manual, this
is indicated on the page using a red box outlining the changed portion of the page.
To read the Service Bulletin, place the mouse pointer within the red box (L) and
click the left mouse button once.

Browsing through the pages of the Service Bulletin is done in a similar way as
browsing through the pages of a group, using the buttons (K) from the Acrobat
Reader Toolbar.
To return to the Workshop Manual, use the button (M) several times until you
return to the Workshop Manual page indicating the Service Bulletin.

8.2. Service Bulletin Listing

Service Bulletins are also listed separately. In this listing the Service Bulletin can be
retrieved using the Service Bulletin Number. To start up the Service Bulletin List,
please refer to the instructions in the chapter ‘Cover Screen’ of the document.

8.2.1 Returning to the cover page.

Place the mouse pointer on area ‘O’ and click the left mouse button once.

8.2.2. Selecting a bulletin.

Place the mouse pointer on the desired Service Bulletin (N) and click the left
mouse button once.
Browsing through the Service Bulletin is done in the same way as described
above.

8.2.3. Returning to the Service Bulletin List.

To return to the first page of the Service Bulletin, place the mouse pointer on
the header of the Service Bulletin (area P) and click the left mouse button
once.

9. Closing the manual.

To close the manual, place the mouse pointer on ‘File’ in the Acrobat Reader Menu at the
top of the screen and click the left mouse button once.
Select ‘Close’ and click the left mouse button once.
