Attention is drawn to Clause 22 of Guidelines on Standard Indhidual Health Insurance Product (Ref IRDAVHLT/REGICIRIO01/01/2020 dated 01.01.2020) wherein General and Health insurers are mandated to offer Standard Individual Health insurance Product “Arogya Sanjeevani Policy" from 1*'April 2020 onwards. 2. In patil modification ofthe above referred ciause ofthe guidelines, itis clarified that the insurers can start offering “Arogya Sanjeevani Policy” before “st Api, 2020 ‘and should ensure that this products definitely offered on or before 1 Apri, 2020, However, f any insurer ie currenty not offering indemnity based heath insurance products at all, the above stipulation wil not apply to those.
