BISD will provide instructional support through different means. We will provide a link on our district BISD website COVID19-Parent Resources. The instructional link will include daily assignments for all students per grade level and per content area Each content area assignment should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. CALENDAR The link will also include a calendar in which assignments will be identified to include page numbers and any assigned readings. Students with intemet access will be able to complete their assignments via grade level resources. If your child does not have access to internet, you will be able to communicate with your child’s campus leaders to pick up a packet that includes all required assignments. ELECTRONIC DEVICES BISD will also be able to provide an electronic device if you choose to have your child work on the online resources. If you would like to check out an electronic device, please complete student/parent equipment use agreement (see pages 2 and 3) and submit it to the campus at time of electronic device pick-up. CAMPUS DISTRIBUTION HOURS Campuses will be open beginning March 23rd to distribute instructional packets or electronic devices from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We will be happy to respond to any questions anyone may have. Principals will be sending out via School Messenger the schedule for pickup of both electronic devices and packets. BISD campuses will follow the Center for Disease Control recommendation to ensure the safety and security of all our students and staff. Dr. Anysia R. I understand that iletarak the device is to be used as a tool for learning during the Coronavirus Response Action Plan and that my child will comply with the BISD Responsible Use Guidelines. I understand the three-layer approach when my child is using the a device. I will help the safe and timely return of the device within the loan period. I tem also understand that I am financially responsible for any willful, malicious, or accidental damage to the device. I understand that my child may lose future loan privileges of the device if it is either damaged or not retumed in a timely manner.
