Answer: A company need employee to accomplish its mission and vision. And company has to
be careful while they are hiring employees. Company have to first sort out that what types of
employee do they need, what are the characteristics that employee should have. And what they
should not have. For this I have find out some characteristics that a employee should have. They
are:

 Long Term Potential: Employees are very valuable to the company. When a company
hiring some employee it is costly. And then they teach those employee how to work
inside the organization and what are their responsibilities. Which is also costly and time
presuming. So, Company have to look forward to those employee who are not going to
leave the company within short period of time.
 Ability to Produce Result: While hiring new people HR department should focus on their
intelligence as well as their working ability. Are they can work hard, work under
pressure, can fulfill their work in time. IT is very important for a employer to look
forward to see in a employee.
 Enthusiasm and Passion: Look for candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about
what they do. Their successes should shine through during the interview. People who
love the work they do often stay at companies longer than people who work for the sake
of the paycheck. Enthusiasm is a great trait to possess for a new employee; enthusiastic
and outgoing employees are often useful to a business because they are likely proficient
when it comes to operations management, enterprise resource planning, and healthcare
management.
 Team Player: Employee should have the ability to work within the group or a team. In
every company employee must have to work within a team or group to complete a
common goal. So, while hiring management should focus on this skill.
 Ambitious: People have ambition will work hard in the company as they wants to go up.
Employee with high ambition is good for the company as they will work very hard and
take the company to the higher position along with them.
 Responsiveness: It is very important for every employee to have responsiveness because
it will show that how they are going to react with their peers and customers and also with
the higher management.
 Persistence: Employee should have persistency in their work. After hiring they will work
hard but day by day their performance will go low it should not be happened. Otherwise
turnover can take place.
