Abstract

This master's thesis is based on the use of the concept of performing landscape as an
auxiliary tool which at the same time represents the basis for a new urban concept,
through which a program medium is implemented in addition to redefining a given
context, enhanced and enriched with an object in the field of sports, recreation ,
relaxation and rehabilitation.
Representing such a complex and hybrid content is done by inserting a new
multifunctional sports center that will offer the residents of the city of Krushevo a
group of activities that would enrich their leisure time, but would also force new
developments in the field of sports and recreation, not only at the level of the city of
Krushevo, but also on a regional plan would serve the needs of the surrounding
towns and cities and would play the role of a new regional and multifunctional sports
center.
The subject of this research will be the area around Krushevo Lake, along with its
morphological, geographical, typological, and topographical features of this part of
the city as a whole. The focus of this paper is the possibilities offered by this urban
fragment in which is planned to carry out the architectural venture in order to
integrate another object in the naturally shaped cultural landscape of this part of the
city that will offer sports news and additional reasons for filling sports stands with
visitors from all over the country.
The established public space around the selected location where the new
multifunctional sports center will be traced is in close correlation with the habits and
activities of its main users who will circulate in these areas. Thus, the introduction of
this new facility takes into account their daily events that directly affect the
development of public spaces and strives to create strong symbiotic connections
that will function equally at the city level.
