Clinical Entry 3 Reflection

I loved conducting my interview, because I feel like it was a great way to get to know the

little things about my teacher before actually seeing her with the kids, and with giving

instruction. I learned a lot, she was able to tell me a little bit about the personalities of her

students, and what works well for them, and some areas that they struggle. I know a big thing we

talked about before I started was that she had a very talkative class this year, and so I needed to

be firm with them, and I will be the first to admit I struggled a little bit with that. My CE was

amazing, I observed some really great teaching moments, I watched her deal with some big

behavioral issues, and I watched the love that her class had for her every day. I know this is

something that she worked hard for as well. I can leave my IMB semester with nothing but good

thoughts and experiences, and I owe that to her. She was an amazing person to learn from, and

someone I would love to keep in contact with in the future as I begin my own teaching career.
