Yup! They told me that SLR cameras are

Chelsea needs to buy her first camera, but she doesn’t know
how to choose a good one. So, she decided to ask to his friend Well, that's right!
Josh for help.

Let’s read the next conversation between Chelsea and Josh.

I don't know what
to do. Heeeelp!
Hi!

Well, it depends on your needs. SLRs have

Hey Chelsea! better quality, but Bridge cameras are more
user-friendly.

Did you finally buy

the camera?

An advantage of working with SLRs is that

Instead of that, they suggested me not to

Well, a disadvantage is that SLRs are a. Making cameras reviews

heavier than Bridge ones.
- Look, I found this review video. It’s from Shameless
Maya YouTube Channel.

I don't know what to do! I need a good

image quality, but I don't have too much
money.

Why don't you watch any review videos? It

- Thanks. I’m going to check it out.

That's a great idea! Thanks!

b. Making comparisons
In the preview video, Maya talked about your types of
digital cameras and said the following:

«... the lenses can be even fancier... »

«... with longer lenses... wider lenses... »

When Chelsea and Josh were talking, they used similar

expressions

«... SLR cameras are better than Bridge ones... »

«... but they are more expensive... »
«... SLRs have better quality... »
«... but Bridge cameras are more user-friendly... »
«... SLRs are heavier than Bridge ones... »

We use these expressions when we want to compare

nouns.

To make a comparison you can use adjectives or adverbs.

When we make comparisons between two things, we use

Comparative adjectives/adverbs; when we compare three
things of more, we use Superlative adjectives/adverbs.
