REF : CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY

The University Senate at its meeting held on Wednesday 18th March 2020 resolved to close
the institution on Friday 20th March 2020. This follows an announcement by the Minister of
Health Honourable Dr. Chitalu Chilufya directing all schools, colleges and universities to
close by Friday 20th March 2020 as a preventive measure against the imminent outbreak of
COVID 19.
This applies to ALL campuses of the University with no exception.
Students accommodated on campus should clear with the Dean of Students Department
before departure.
