My name is Pranav Aggarwal, born and brought up in Delhi.

Engineer from background and

have 5 years of work experience and worked with Zomato. Food is my passion so I joined
Zomato when it was in its early stages.

Working in a startup is really a roller coaster ride. The experienced I attained while working
was fascinating. I worked in many departments such as Media Content, Online Ordering,
Table Reservations. Recruitment & Partnerships Team. The diverse experience helped in
developing and honing many skills.

In school life I enjoyed studying Economics as a subject and making sculptures I learned. I
received the Founder’s Day award for the same. I completed my engineering in the year
2014 from Amity University, Noida in Mechanical specialization.

I enjoy watching movies and playing video games. I also run a food blogging page on
Instagram which has more than 12 k followers. I love to post my food journey with the
other folks so that they can relish on the good food. Mughlai, Thai, Italian and street food
are my favorite cuisines. Karim’s Fried Chicken was my favorite dish in Delhi Dastarkhawan,
Lodhi Road. I try to explore any new city I visit and try to discover good places to eat or visit
old monuments or famous places. Old monuments intrigue me and reading history about
them is much more interesting.

I wanted to do get a MBA degree after attaining few years of experience which I started
doing this year. After listening to a lot of positive feedback about SPJIMR I planned to join
the PGPM course through my CAT score. During this one year I am planning to learn as
much as possible and hone my skills more. I have an ambition to climb the corporate ladder
and wish to join the Growth Team of Zomato in future. Other than above-mentioned
interests I also take keen interest in investing in Stock Market. I read corporate news a lot
just keep on track with the business world. I have been doing this for the past 15 years. My
father imparted his knowledge about the same since I was in 7 th standard. I have invested
my salary and had good returns over the year. I still invest in stock market and wish to
continue to do the same.

Hoping this year will be great for me and looking forward to interact with the highly
qualified faculty and the fellow students.
