Legend says that Leprechauns are small

magical creatures that live in the forests
of Ireland. They look like a tiny, old man
with pointed ears, red hair and red beard.
They wear Green coats and trousers, a
green top hat and buckled black shoes.
Leprechauns are extremely grumpy. They
make shoes and like to smoke a pipe of
tobacco which smells horrible! Each
Leprechaun also has a pot of gold which
they hide at the end of the rainbow. If
you catch a Leprechaun he will lead you
to his pot of gold and give it to you as a
bribe to let him go. Leprechauns are
naughty, they like to cause mischief. They
like to hide in trees and although they are
small, they can usually move very fast and
are nearly impossible for a human to
catch! If you are lucky enough to capture
a Leprechaun, don’t take your eyes off
the Leprechaun for even a second or he
will disappear!
