Description : CPP Boiler-II Inspected By : Mr. KYK, SCK, VAR

We have carried out following inspection activities for MR-14448 (Boiler-II).

 Thickness survey of Bed super heater coils.

Observations & Recommendations

 Bed super heater coil: Leakage observed on RHS bed super heater coils#24, 25 & due to
leakage erosion noticed on adjacent bed super heater coils#22, 23 & 26. Same coils are
recommended for replacement.
Also reduction in thickness observed on coils#02 & 09. These two coils to be planned for
replacement during next suitable opportunity after rechecking for further reduction in
thickness.
Thickness of LHS bed super heater coil was checked & found satisfactory in general.

 Bed Coil: Due to leakages on RHS bed super heater coils, RHS bed coils#66, 67, 68, 69
found eroded. Same coils are recommended for replacement.
LHS bed coils condition found satisfactory in general.
