This proposal was born because of the low results obtained in the “Pruebas Saber
11” and the low performance in the English area in recent years in the students of
the Agricultural Technical School of Chiscas, this due to the lack of understanding
of texts and the least interest and knowledge of this language. In order to improve
these difficulties, a diagnostic test is carried out that allows to establish the levels of
comprehension and design a strategy that helps to strengthen the weaknesses
found.
The results of the research showed how the implementation of TICs Tools helped to
improve student reading levels in a 38% in the inferential level and 47% in the literal
level, in the same way it was established that English is an area that allows enriching
the knowledge in different subjects since it is possible to work in a transversal and
united way expanding the lexical and cultural aspects in each one.
