PREVENTION OF AGE FRAUD:-

1. IBBF maintains a data base of all the participants in the Junior Category which
according to parent body i.e. the World Body Building and Physique Sports
Federation (WBPF). The Registration of an Athlete for participation in Junior
Category National, State and District Level competitions is done after verifying
Date of Birth on the certificate issued by Birth/Death Registrar /AADHAR Card /
Passport on the very first instance of participation which is usually in Junior
Section.
2. Any individual found to be involved in age fraud is banned for two years in
accordance with the rules laid down by WBPF and NADA .
3. Affiliated State Association has been directed to strictly verify age of the
Athletes before selecting them for state teams and any discrepancies found are
dealt in summary manner by imposition of penalties.
4. Athletes who are assessed and suspected for age fraud are sent for medical
verification by the orthopedic Doctors for Bone Ossification tests and if found
overage are only permitted to participate in Senior category.
