No.: VTU/PS/2020-21/10 4A | pateff 3 MAR 2020 REVISED CIRCULAR Sub: Declaration of Holidays in the wake of COVID - 19 In view of the directions issued by the Govt. of Karnataka, vide Order No, ED 107 UNE 2020, Bengaluru dated 13.03.2020 and DTE/53/ACM(1)/2019-20 dated 13.03.2020 holidays are declared for students of all the affiliated, autonomous, constituent engineering colleges and PG Centres for fifteen days with effect from 14.03.2020 (viz. 14.03.2020 to 28.03.2020). However, college offices need to remain open and teaching, non- teaching staff will have to attend the college as usual. Further, if any specific directions are received from the district authorities regarding COVID-19, the same may be followed by the colleges and PG Centres. ‘The colleges and PG Centres need to compensate in this regard by planning for extra academic sessions later.
