50.2 51.0 (@) The $.0. may instruct the Contractor to resume the Works at any time thereatter. Upon receipt of such instruction the Contractor shall resume the Works and the Parties shall jointly examine the Works affected by the suspension, The Contractor shall make good any deterioration or defect in or loss of the Works which has occurred during the suspension. The Contractor shall also take all necessary actions to mitigate the expenses incurred Extension of Time If the Contractor suffers delay and/or incurs expenses in complying with the instruction under Clause 50.1(a), and in resumption of the Works, and if such delay andlor expenses was not foreseeable by the Contractor, the Contractor shall give notice for extension of time under clause 443 and the provisions thereof shall apply accordingly. PROVIDED THAT the Contractor shall not be entitled to such extension if the suspension is due to cause attributable to the Contractor land he shall not be entitled to payment of loss and expense ifhe — (2) fails to take measures specified in clause 50.1(b); and (©) fails to take all necessary action to mitigate the expenses incurred.
