Project Overview
Recap
In Project 1, we defined our root problem,
scenario, and solution proposal.

Root Problem: Cyclists often have difficulty navigating

campus due to bike path obstructions

Current Task
Develop a solution from Project 1 for Purdue bicyclists based on our
task flow, necessary steps and interactions, and competition.

User Feedback for Sprints 1-3
● The use of features were unclear and needed to be presented
better.
● Change the way we display the route.
● Since it is crowd sourced, add a survey at the end.
● There could be a few additional pages to help with the user
experience, such as a trip cancellation confirmation.

Which problems do we help solve?
From interviews, we learned that navigating campus is difficult
because of:

1. Pedestrian Traffic.
2. Different Routes.
3. Lack of parking space.

Our solution is targeted at solving steps 2 and 3.

Future Changes/Steps
App
● Add a user survey for path conditions/experience
● Further refine page navigation
● Add Waze Racks app functionality
and begin testing process.

Expansion
● Adding Waze Racks on campus
○ Implemented app functions would allow users to lock/unlock
a rack spot and secure their bicycle.
○ App generates a keypad code at the time of locking the rack
that could be used in the event a user’s device dies prior
to unlocking the rack.
Summary
● Worked on iteratively improving our wireframes in sprints
● Received feedback on the solutions
● Made suggested changes where possible
● Delivered final prototype
● Ideated future design and function possibilities
