To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing on behalf of Mr. Jake Klukaszewski, who was a student teacher in my

eighth grade class from January 21, 2020- March 13, 2020. Jake was responsible for
teaching three sections of 8th grade American History, with each class period in our
block schedule being a total of 75 minutes. While in my classroom, Jake had a total
of 72 students, with 12 IEP students in one class period. During this particular class,
Jake had the opportunity to co-teach with our learning support teacher and myself.

During this eight-week period, Mr. Klukaszewski planned lessons, implemented

activities, and assessed student learning in various ways. Through the use of pre-
tests and post-tests, exit slips, projects, simulations, and choice boards, Jake
Klukaszewski has successfully demonstrated his awareness of different learning
styles, as well as the use of both formative and summative assessments. Jake has
not only prepared and adjusted assignments to meet the varied needs of students,
but also established a positive reward program to encourage student engagement
in the short time he was there.

Jake possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. He has a great rapport with
the students he has worked with. He is well dressed, articulate, and always ready
with a smile and a kind word. Other 8th-grade and department team members have
accepted him as a strong working member of our team and he has had a positive
working relationship with each one of them, as well as with other staff members.

I am confident that Mr. Klukaszewski will be an asset to any staff that he works with.
He is confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills of a seasoned teacher. I believe
that he will continue to grow and become even more effective as a teacher with
