C) ECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS THEORY-BRONFENBRENNER

I choose Ecological SystemsTheories to recommend a solution as a teacher because according to

the American psychologist, Bronfenbrenner who has formulated the Ecological Systems Theory

to explain how the inherent qualities of children and their environments interact to influence how

they grow and develop. The exosystem pertains to the linkages that may exist between two or

more settings, one of which may not contain the developing children but affect them indirectly

nonetheless. Based on the findings, people and places that children may not directly interact with

may still have an impact on their lives. Such places and people may include the parents’

workplaces, extended family members, and the neighborhood the children live in.

Haadi case who was raised in family who involved in business which is he always help his father

at the shop in buying and selling, keeping accounts and entertaining customers. Seems like Haadi

has been treated to become a seller who love talk and entertain to customers very well. That’s

why haadi’s languages and communication skill are very well developed. Most of children who

positive in communication usually have a low level in scoring their exam and so on. Although he

always fails in his exam, he is very obedient boy at home and famous among his friends. In these

cases, I would like to give opinion Haadi has a significant influences from most people and

places the has been raised up before. In these case teacher has to play a big role to solving the

problems and fix the situation so that Haadi can adapt with the examination environment and to

increase the interest of Haadi in learning process in class. Teacher has to manage the classroom

environment to develop the student positive thinking in leaning process. Indirectly can enhance

the student interest in the the subject that Haadi always fails. For example, in subject

Mathematics, teacher always can create a colourful Math Corner by providing Mathematical
material in the corner. Besides, teacher also has to be a role model and create a good relationship

with students. If students have problems with any subjects, so teacher has to ask and help them to

solve the problem. For example, if Haadi always fails in Math subject, so teacher can ask him

what makes him don’t like the subject and what kind of method can help him struggle for

example give him a personal additional class. Teacher also can use a personalized learning

toward Haadi’s case. For example, if Haadi always fail in Mathematic subject, so teacher can use

some different kind of learning strategies such as use a gamification tool such as game board,

quizlet, kahoot or other to attract Haadi’s interest in the subject.
