(All scenes must be brightly lit unless specified otherwise)

1. Sun rays through the leaves of a tree, seen through a camera lens, blurry then focuses.
2. Shutter sound, cut to black, title of the film.
3. Cue music; focus on the daughter’s chin, pan upwards to let the viewer know that she is
smiling/grinning.
4. MCU of subject, zoom out, daughter is walking, the camera follows from her side the slowly
moves back to view her from behind.
5. MCU of daughter’s legs, CU of her feet, showing that she is removing her shoes, cut music.
6. Gate/door opening,
Daughter: Andito na po ako!
Long shot, she then proceeds to her room, drops the bag onto the floor and lies down on the
bed.
7. (The camera will serve as the daughter’s eyes) Clicking sounds from pressing the next button as
she go through the gallery: show maybe at least 20 photos of nature, be it trees or flowers, play
the scene of going through the gallery for maybe 15 seconds.
8. (2nd camera is position at the corner of the room, ES: showing the daughter lying on her bed,
clicking her camera, pan to the pictures placed on the wall by her bed, MCU of the wall.
9. Cut to the dining table, CU to the father’s hands (show up to chest, at least), handling the
utensils, then zoom out to show the he is eating, ES of the entire dining are, the daughter can
now be seen.
10. Father eats maybe 2 bites then speaks:
Father: Kamusta ang school? (chews again)
Daughter: Okay lang naman. (indifferent)
Father: Ang bland naman ng response mo, I am trying out for a conversation here. Anong
nangyari ngayong araw?
Daughter: (nearly done with her plate) Nag-quiz kami sa 3 subjects, all with the same results.
Father: And?
Daughter: Breaking news: I’ve failed in everything.
Father: (drops utensils on the plate, loudly) Alam kong mahirap ang accounting, pero would it
kill you to try harder?
Daughter: (finishes her last bite) Yes, Pa, kasi studying something I don’t care about is one way
to die.
 Father: E, anong gusto mo? Yang papicture-picture ng mga halaman at mga puno? Anong
mapapala mo dyan?
Daughter: Would it kill you to sincerely ask me instead na insultuhin mo kung anong gusto ko?
Daughter stands up and leaves, goes to her room and slams the door.
11. High angle: Daughter using her fists to cover her eyes (crying), fade to black.
12. Morning. Daughter by the door, finishing her shoelaces.
Daughter: Alis na po ako
Slams the main door shut.
13. EU of the daughter on the campus grounds (green grass, at least) She is holding her camera.
14. Cut to the house, the father opens the door and heads to the dining table and leaves his bag on
it.
Father: (insert name of daughter)?
He goes to her room, (camera is behind him) He sees his daughter’s bulletin board covered in
pictures. At the center, a very old photograph of her daughter , smiling widely, sitting by a tin of
plant.
Father: Ako kumuha nito ah, naitabi pa pala niya… (camera at his side)
Around the center are photos of nature; both photographs and some newspaper articles are
pinned: articles about must-see places for nature photographers.
The camera focuses again on the center photo
15. Daughter opens the door and kicks her shoes off,
Daughter: Andito po ako.
Father: (by the table) Buti maaga ka ngayon, naghanda ako. Maya ka na muna magbihis at baka
lumamig pa ang pagkain.
Daughter: Okay…. Anong meron ngayon?
She sits down facing her father on the other side. They eat quietly for a bit.
Father: (nearly done with his plate) May nakita akong (insert camera name or lens or
whichever, and its high-end quality characteristics), mura lang naman. Kaya namang mabili.
Daughter: Huh? Paano mo iyon alam, Pa?
Father: I keep pace with what’s in kahit hindi halata.
Daughter: Uh… okay…
Silence
Father: Wala ka namang pasok bukas diba? Alis tayo.
Daughter: San tayo pupunta?
Father: (insert camera store’s name (kaso baka kailangan imbento lang kasi baka sabihing nag
aadvertise tayo), san pa ba? Ayaw mo ba?
Daughter: Pero bakit? Anong use ng accountant sa camera na ganun?
Father: (meekly) Bakit… gusto mo pa ba maging accountant?
ECU to the daughter’s eyes, beginning to water. (Jean, imaginin mo na mamatay ang ultimate
love of your life)
ECU of the Father’s eyes, beginning to water. (Kris, balikan mo ang nakaraan kung saan super
nasaktan ka ni Norbert para maluha ka mwah)
 (Music: Sad instrumental 1 )Daughter drops her utensils on her plate, loudly and stands; slowly
walking towards her father who’s arms are reaching out to her. Daughter cries halfway and hugs
her father while sobbing loudly by his shoulder. Very slowly, fade to black.
16. Slowly opens with the bulletin board. Focus on the center pic (of daughter holding a sprout).
Zoom out to show the other pictures surrounding the center photo.
Stop-motion style: Pictures added one by one by the daughter and the father’s hands: pictures
where theyre both in the pictures, maybe just the father or the daughter.
17. Fade to black, ECU to the daughter’s hands: placing the last photo on the bulletin board. She is
placing it right beside the center photo.
Photo;Low Angle: The father and the daughter posing, with a tree behind them.
Slowly zoom out, second camera positioned behind the daughter. Back to the first camera, CU of
the daughter’s face (side view). ECU of the daughter’s cheek, with a tears rolling down on her
cheek. (Music: Sad instrumental 2)
18. Cut to CU of a flower vase placed by the window (scatter some flower petals at the base of the
flower vase to imply that it’s dying).
Daughter: (narrates through the scene of the flower vase) Thank you so much, Papa ( voice
cracks)
19. Slowly fade to black.
20. End Credits
