decision maker to another; with business partners, such as delivery firms;
and with the customer. Computer-based information systems make this
possible.

I. Collaboration
Teams have a specific mission that someone in the business assigned to them.
Importance of Collaboration and Teamwork:
the use of social networking platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and internal
corporate social tools—to engage their employees, customers, and suppliers.

Systems analysts constitute the prin- cipal liaisons between the information
systems groups and the rest of the organization

the firm and is responsible for enforcing the firm’s information security policy
