This nail-bitting TV series, "Gotham", tells the story of a middle-aged comissioner named James

Gordon who would make everything to save his city from villains, thiefs, robbers. This masterpiece
contains touching, terrifying crimes and twists all over the plot, making it probably one of the most
dramatic, thrilling series. It was written in 2014 by an ingenious, creative writer-Bruno Heller.

The plot starts with James trying to find the killer of a reputed couple - Thomas and Marta
Wayne. He vows to their child, who will have an important role in the meantime, that he will catch the
perpretator. To realise this, James has to set at naugh some serial killers as: Fish Mooney, one of the
most respected woman through mafia, Oswald Cobblepot, the right hand of Fish who can easily
manipulate peole, Barbare Kean, his psycho ex wife, Victor Zsasz, probably the best ranger ever seen and
many more.

What makes this series one of the best is that its episodes are pretty solid, catching and
coherent, fact that makes it eassier to be followed. Another interesting fact is that almost every
character has a significant role. Beside those roles, characters have a tridimensional and complex portrait
and their actings are simply astonishing. The cast was chosen cautiously and it can be seen as the series
proves professionalism and flawless performances from the actors.

All in all, despite Gotham is not as known as expected and its scenes may be frightening from
time to time, it should be seen by many more people as it has a deep, thought-provoking style and the
people engaged have done difficult, but great work.
