Sianok Canyon has two walls are almost vertical and it facing each other. The
height of canyon is around 100 until 200 meter and the length is 15 km. The two
wall is forms canyon that you can see the lanscape of rice field and river on that.
This canyon is divided by Bukittinggi and Mt. Singgalang.

You can see the beautiful of Sianok Canyon from Panorama Garden in Bukittinggi
or you can also go directly to canyon that is village area and rice field. To enjoy
the scenary from garden, the visitors should pay entrance fee Rp. 5000 per
person. Besides the beautiful of canyon, visitor also can visit japan’s bunker in
the floor of canyon. Sianok Canyon is the beautiful place in West Sumatera,
especially when sunrise and sunset.

Advice:

 If you want to visit Sianok Canyon much better to come earlier to see the
sunrise or you can wait until sunset because at this time you will see the
best scenary in Sianok Canyon.
 Because of the location is far with village, you better go on foot.
 You can go by personal car or go by Ado/Sado if you want to go to
Panorama Garden as an alternative to enjoy the scenary of Sianok
Canyon.
 If you want to spoile your eye to enjoy the beautiful of Sianok Canyon
from Panorama Garden, You can use Gazebo and also you can see the
monkeys which play around garden.
 There is a tower with the length is 20 meter close with souvernir shop
where you can see the beautiful of Sianok Canyon clearly.
