A STATISTICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN

STRESS LEVEL, HOURS OF SLEEP AND THEIR DREAM

COLLEGE MAJOR OF 10TH AND 11TH GRADE STUDENTS
Introduction
We want to see the relationship between the two while also comparing it to

students’ dream college major. The statistical method we decided to use is

comparing two populations from chapter 11. Chapter 11 is about comparing two

populations of two samples which are independently selected random samples from

the populations of interest and the sample sizes have to be large or the population

distribution is at least normal.

Procedure
1. Data collection
- Create a survey
- Included 3 questions :
1. What is your dream college major?
2. How would you rate your stress level at the moment?
3. How many hours of sleep do you usually get?
2. Data analysis
- Compare all three questions
- Represent the results in graph and table format

The mean stress level of people
aiming for different major is
