Hello Mrs. Rolwes’ First Grade Class!

My name is Alison Valdez and I will be student teaching this semester in

Mrs. Rolwes class. I am an Early Childhood Education major and will be graduating
from Colorado State University in May! I am from Lakewood, Colorado but have
been enjoying my time in Fort Collins for the past three years. In Fort Collins my
favorite pastime is hiking at Horsetooth Reservoir and spending time with friends
& family!
I have been privileged enough to teach for the past 3 years and can truly
say how rewarding it is to work with children of all ages in all spaces. This
semester is going to be an explosion of learning for the students and myself!
My work throughout the years have prepared me for the upcoming journey
at Lopez Elementary School. I am excited for the semester ahead and cannot wait
to learn alongside the students!
