5. Simple past tense

6. Past continuous tense
My brother is helping to cut some onions, chilies, carrots, potatoes and other
vegetables. He is also writing a recipe. He plans to make Birthday Cake at home
next Monday. He is making the birthday cake for mother. Next Monday is mother’s
birthday. An hour later, My brother and i have finished eating cake. Now, my brother
is listening to my grandfather’s story. My broher also loves listening to my grandpa’s
story. My gandpa has many stories about life, joke, culture and many more. Now,
him with grandmother are listening to one story of The Charlie Chaplin Story. They’re
enjoying their time together.
7. Past Perfect Tense
Electric bell
An electric bell is a mechanical bell that functions by means of an electromagnet.
When an electric current is applied, it produces a repetitive buzzing or clanging
sound. Electric bells have been widely used at railroad crossings,
in telephones, school bells, and doorbells.

We’re going to play badminton in the yard near your house. Do you want to join us or will
Dey : you do something else this weekend?
Oh, okay. I don’t have anything to do this weekend. I think I will ask my brother to join us. Is
Yojo : it okay
Oh, that’s such a great idea. You will know my cousin soon and we will have so much fun
Dey : there.
Yojo : What time will we be there?
Dey : At 4.30 in the afternoon.
Yojo : Okay. My brother and I will be there in time.
Dey : Alright.
