Week One - Context

CONTEXT

How did you find coming up
with an idea that challenged
you enough for your FMP?
At first it was difficult to come up was an idea that would be
challenging enough but I know that I wanted my subject to
be related to a big issue/problem that is currently happening
in the world or my other subject was a moral that I feel
although mankind doesn’t appreciate, I know that theses
subject would really be eye opening to people and make
them think, I wanted my audience to think after watching my
animation and hopefully help them improve themselves. I
know that doing an important issue or moral I would need to
make it serious and know when to add certain emotional
feelings to it as I don’t want it to come across in a comedic
way and for the audiences not to take it seriously. This is
when I knew it would be challenging.

How has writing a proposal
helped you with finalising
your idea?
I found writing my proposal helped as it helped my explain my idea
by writing it out also I found that as I wrote it out the storyline of my
idea started to form this helped in the later planning process I could
see my idea. I also think that by writing out my idea it also become
more visual in my mind and then how it would look him, it lead to
myself thinking about characters and set and what time period I
wanted my animation to be set in.

How did the feedback help
you adapt your idea – what
did you change after
feedback?
My feedback helped as I was able to get others ideas and
perspectives on what they thought of my idea, this was important as
it good to get your target audiences ideas of the idea and to see
whether they liked it and what they didn’t like about it so I know
what to take out and what to add to make my idea better, this really
helps so I could finalise my idea and also tailor it so fit fitted what my
target audience would like to see. I also did Vox pop in place of a
focus good this was successful as I able to get honest options about
my idea and there thoughts and feels of how it could be improved or
changed.
